Marla Thalheimer, LEED AP, Sustainability Manager for Liberty Property Trust, will lead our discussion on emerging approaches to sustainability in building operations and how these practices enhance your triple bottom line. This topic will address O&M for both new and existing buildings and will include discussion of energy efficiency, automation, water efficiency, waste reduction, green housekeeping/maintenance, and indoor environmental air quality. We will also explore the drivers and incentives for implementing green operations and maintenance practices and briefly discuss some available certification programs (e.g., LEED EBOM and Energy Star).
